These Emergency Water Storage Tanks are equipped with all the necessary fittings needed for long term water storage applications. Emergency Water Storage Tanks are made from FDA/NSF Approved Food Grade BPA-Free polyethylene and have built-in UV inhibitors to avoid color fading and breakdown from harsh sunlight. 500 gallon Emergency Water Storage tanks are great for storing water in a basement or garage. They are preinstalled with two 3/4″ bulkhead fittings & ship with two high quality brass spigots. One of the fittings is located at the base of the tank and is used for draining. The other is located 14″ off the ground and off centered from the fill/drain fitting so that there is never any interference when filling a 5 gallon bucket or pan with water. Pictured here is the light blue color which symbolizes fresh water in an emergency situation.
